This Yataghan sword is of Turkish origin, early to mid 19C. Blade with maker mark 21 inches long. Chased silver grips strap and Original scabbard with large chased silver locket and chape connected with a silver chain. Total length 27 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Few inserts are missing from the grips. Minor ivory chips.
