Up for sale is this Shamshir sword, Persian, 18 C. – Wootz (Damascus, watered ) steel blade, deeply curved 29 inches long. Rare and unusual wood grips covered with leather with silver tacks. Steel cross guard, grip strap and pommel cap. Total length 34 inches. Very good condition. One of the cross guard langets is slightly shortened.
