This pair of swords is coming from North India, early to mid 19 C. heavy short and wide, down curving blades 19 1/2 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide with pronounced T spine and finely fullered below the spine. The handles are of the basket "Khanda" style, whole steel and nicely chiseled. Total length 25 1/2 inches. Blades are identical and handles of the same dimensions with minor difference in chiseled decorative design. Very good condition. A very impressive pair of swords.
