Up for sale is this Kindjal dagger, most probably of Georgian origin. Blade 13 inches, flat diamond cross section. Handle and scabbard of gilded chase silver with niello decoration and granulation work. The back of the scabbard is marked 30/I 28 , probably standing for January 1928. Total length 19 inches, Good condition. Re-sharpening scratches on the blade with darkened areas. Dents on the silver work. Damaged and repaired pommel front plate and damaged belt ring band.
