This Bugis Keris Dagger has a very heavy undulating blade of very good pamor structure. The mendak is engraved brass. The hilt and the scabbard are finely carved from a beautifully grained wood, in a classical Sulawezi style. The tip of the scabbard is bound with heavy rattan strips dyed black and a silver tip and silver band at the top. Scabbard dimensions are bigger and wider than usual. Blade length 13 inches. Total Length 18 inches. Very good condition. Minor age cracks on the scabbard and minor wood chips on the handle.
