This very fine yataghan sword is possibly of greek origin, early to mid 19 C. The blade is finely laminated with engraved inscription in Arabic letter. The silver handle and silver scabbard are very finely chased gilded and decorated with niello design Blade length 20 inches. Total 26 inches. Very good plus condition. Minor damage to the scabbard tip. A very fine complete sword.
