This is a very good Qama with a fine steel blade of hollow diamond cross section, marked with a maker mark set in gold. Horn grips with nielloed silver mounts. The scabbard is covered with green leather and mounted with engraved and nielloed silver locket and chape en-suite with the handle. The back of the locket is dated 1345 (1926 in the Gregorian calendar). Blade length 15 1/2 inches. Total length 22 inches. Very good condition.
