This sword is of Georgian origin mid 19 C. well forged, nicely fullered blade, 32 inches long. The blade is marked with a deep maker stamp. Wood handle covered with black leather with steel cross guard and pommel, both very finely inlaid with brass. Original scabbard with leather cover and steel mounts also inlaid with brass. Total length 36 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Minor losses and damages to the leather cover of the hilt and the scabbard. A Rare sword.
