From Dagestan in the Caucasus, mid to late 19 C. comes this very good Qama dagger. 16 inches blade with off centered fullers. Handle carved from a single massive piece of walrus ivory with gold decorated rivet heads. Leather covered scabbard with steel belt attachment with silver inlay and a silver tip. Total length 22 inches. Very good condition. Cracked handle but holds very solid. The scabbard tip is later.
