Fine Ottoman Balkan Yataghan sword with 24 inches blade finely fullered below the spine and inlaid with Koftgari gold work: Arab inscription and possibly the date 12?7 (1800-1900 in the Gregorian Calendar), most probably second half of the 19 C. Walrus grips with finely gilded filigree bolsters and grip strap set with big ribbed drop shaped corals and green colored stones on the bolsters Total length 29 inches. Very good condition. Left grips cracked as common with these Yataghans. No scabbard
