This very good Arab Jambiya Dagger is known as Mecca style, with a silver scabbard and uprising scabbard tip. Early to mid 20 C. The blade is of good quality, 7 1/2 inches long, double edge with a central rib. The grip is Solid Rhino horn with clear fibrous structure, set with silver filigree decoration and silver rosettes. The scabbard is a piece of arts on its own in heavy pierced silver. Very good condition.. An outstanding piece for the serious collector of Arabic weapons.
