Up for sale is this rare and old Nias shield, carved from a single piece of light wood, reinforced with rattan bindings to avoid splitting. Length 51 inches, width 11 inches. Very good condition, Good age patina. Some losses to the rattan binding, mainly on the inner side. An interesting and rare item.
