Up for sale is this very good big Qama / Kindjal dagger dated to 1324 (1906 in the Gregorian calendar) The blade is 16 inches long, finely fullered in the classical off centered fashion and the maker mark (OSMAN in Cyrillic letters) deeply stamped in the blade. Horn grips with finely chiseled and nielloed front cover and granulated silver grip strap, en suite with the scabbard mounts. There is a nielloed inscription the locket back side, Arabic letters and the date. Total length 22 inches. Very good plus condition.
