Up for sale is this very good Qama / Kindjal dagger, dated to 1912 on the back side of the scabbard tip (and 1335 on the blade which corresponds to 1916 in the Gregorian calendar). The blade is 14 1/2 inches long, finely fullered and with gold inlay decoration added on one of the fullers and dated 1335. Horn grips with finely chiseled and nielloed mounts, en suite with the scabbard mounts. There is a monogram on the locket back side, probably of the owner. Total length 21 inches. Very good condition. Scratches and grinding remains on the blade. All silver parts are clearly proof marked.
