This short heavy dagger is Turkish, late 19 C. with a kindjal style blade 16 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide with a central fuller on both sides and traces of etching. Wood grips with chased white metal cover on the front grip. Velvet covered scabbard with chased white metal chape. Total length 24 inches. Good condition. Losses to the chased metal cover and the scabbard tip.
