This fine powder flask is coming from Algeria, late 19 to early 20 C. Finely carved wood with brass tacks and wooden top plug. Diameter 5 1/2 inches, height 11 inches. Very good condition. Old repair to the flask mouth. The carving on the flask is very similar to the carving on scabbards of Flyssa swords and other wood works from the area.
