This curved dagger is a fine example of the Persian art in steel in the Qajar period, 2nd half of the 19 C. The blade is 10 inches long, double edged with shallow fullers with a chiseled panel at the top of the blade. The handle and the scabbard are whole steel with fine chiseling. Total length 16 inches. Excellent condition. A very elegant dagger.
