Up for sale is this very interesting version with a protecting hood over the handle, but different in style from the common hooded kattars. The blade is narrow, double edged with a diamond cross section, 19 1/2 inches long. The handle is massive and the hood is short and thick. Total length 27 1/2 inches. Without similarity to other hooded Kattars it is difficult to suggest attribution and age.
