This massive Jambiya dagger is early 20 C. coming from the Western regions of Arabia, Hijaz and Asir. The big and heavy blade is 16 inches long, 3 inches wide, very well forged with a shallow central rib. Horn grip mounted with heavy silver mounts all around. The scabbard is covered with brass and silver and the belt attachment is bound with twisted brass wires (belt itself missing). Total length 22 inches. Very good condition. A massive and very impressive authentic dagger.
