This short sword is a version of the Khyber sword from Afghanistan. Classical blade shape, 17 inches long with a pronounced T spine. Unusual grip shape, composed of bone and horn sectors with the horn pommel decorated with nails. Brass bolsters. Scabbard covered with leather over a red fabric in the scabbard mouth and a steel tip. Total length 22 1/2 inches. Very good condition.
