This good shield is mid to late 19 C. 20 inches diameter, heavy steel finely Etched with inscription in Arabic letters human figures and birds on dense floral background. The shield is set with four bosses nd mounted with a brass strip around the rim. Good condition. Minor crack in the shield. Handles and mounting rings are missing.
