This Keris dagger is coming from Java, Indonesia. It employs an early blade, probably 18 C., undulating, 15 inches long, good pamor structure with gold spots inlaid at the top. Quite thin from excessive etching. Classical grained wood handle and scabbard. Gilded silver Mendak set with clear stones. White metal cover on the scabbard. Total length 19 inches. Very good condition. Minor areas of de-lamination. Small wood chip on the scabbard mouth.
