This flintlock operated pistol is of Turkish origin, mid 19 C. or a bit earlier. Good steel barrel, 12 1/2 inches long. Flintlock in very good working order, complete with all original parts, inlaid with silver decoration. Wood stock with pierced heavy silver decoration, chased silver barrel cover and chased silver butt. The butt is also bound with twisted silver wire to strengthen it. Total length 19 inches. Very good condition. Ramrod missing.
