Up for sale is this heavy broad blade Shamshir sword with a 32 inches long 2 inches wide blade entirely etched with calligraphy in Arabic letters and decorated with a silver inlaid koftgari panels. Horn grips with steel grip strap and steel pommel. Steel cross guard with silver koftgari decoration. Total length 38 inches. Very good condition. Some losses to the silver inlay. Missing rosettes on the grips rivets. Impressive sword.
