This Spear is Indian, mid to late 19 C. Leaf shaped steel head is 17 inches long, 9 inches blade and 8 inches socket. The haft is 79 inches long constructed from two halves, each finely covered with chased silver with the central handle part covered with fine blue velvet. The steel tail is 10 inches long. Total length 88 inches. Very good condition. A very fine item.
