This is one of the many Variants of the Telek or Gozma daggers carried by the Tuaregwith the characteristics cross shaped brass pommel (A relic from their Christian origin ??) . This specific one has a whole brass scabbard but do not have a arm ring as may be found on other similar daggers. The blade is double edged, 10 1/2 inches long. The hilt and scabbard are covered with engraved brass. Total length (in scabbard) 16 inches. Very good condition. Minor dents and repairs to the scabbard. Very low price.
