This very fine dagger is Turkish, early to mid 19 C. with a very fine wootz blade 8 1/2 inches long decorated with gold koftgari work. Agate handle set with dark brown stone on the pommel and gilded silver bolster. Original wood scabbard with nicely chased silver locket and chape. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition.
