This mysterious knife is most probably coming from south Arabia or Yemen. It is down curving heavy blade, 10 inches long and deadly sharp. The handle is cut from a massive piece of honey colored rhino horn. Wood scabbard with very thin tooled leather cover. This knife comes with a red thread belt ending with a big silver ring. Total length 16 inches. Very good condition. Losses and damage to the leather cover. It is unusual in shape, yet some features suggest the above origin: The silver ring bound with a silver wire and the tooled leather sometimes seen on South Arabia / Yemen saif also mistakenly known as Zanzibar swords. A realy unusual item.
