Up for sale is this fine Balkan Yataghan with impressive walrus ivory grips with big ears. Finely forged blade stamped with a drop shaped crisp maker mark. Blade is 26 inches long decorated with silver koftgari work, with inscription in Arabic letters. Gilded grip strap and bolsters set with big ribbed coral stones. Total length 31 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. A fine piece.
