This Khayber sword is a good example of a well made one. The blade is 18 inches long with a pronounce T spine. It is well forged from Wootz (Damascus) steel and decorated with gold koftgari work. Four sectors elephant ivory grips with steel grip strap and silver bolsters. Original wood scabbard covered with fabric and with finely chased and pierced silver chape. Total length 25 inches. Very good condition, Some losses to the gold koftgari work. The silver bolsters are recent. A very impressive sword.
