Very Good Persian Quadara Sword - 9119

This sword is of Persian origin and it is also known as Quadara. A similar sword is found in central Asian countries and in the Caucasus but sometimes called Qama. This specimen has a 22 inches long single edge blades with a 6 inches false edge. The blade is fullered, marked with an eight point star maker mark. The grips are black Buffalo horn mounted with three rivets over old Persian coins. Original scabbard, covered with dark green ass hide and mounted with chased silver locket and chape. Total length 30 inches. Very good condition. Blade worn with traces of cleaned pitted spots. |
