Up for sale is this fine fighting Kora sword of a classical shape and design. The heavy blade is 20 inches long with the very wide 5 inches tip is sharply down curving with the edge of the blade on the concave side. The blade is marked with the “Lucky” talisman sun mark and beautifully chiseled along its spine. Handle of tubular grip with disk shaped pommel and cross guard. The grip is finely ribbed in a spiral pattern to ensure a good grip. Total length 26 inches. Very good condition. A fine Kora in very good condit5ion. This Kora comes from the collection of John Powell, SF, a world known collection of Nepalese and related weapons.
