This very fine Kard knife is of Turkish origin with influence from Persian / Central Asian similar items. The blade is heavy, 13 inches long with pronounced T spine and forged from very fine Wootz (Damascus) steel with very high contrast pattern. Walrus handle. Silver collar and gilded brass bolster. Silver scabbard. Total length 19 inches. Very good condition. Minor chips on the grip and minor dents on the scabbard.
