Fine Long Persian Pesh Kabz Dagger with Wootz Blade - 9007

The Pesh Kabz dagger with its re-curving blade and slightly down curving handle with its good solid grip is regarded as the best armor piercing dagger ever to be developed. It is therefore was adopted by warriors of many cultures Central Asia Persia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India. The fine specimen shown here is Persian. It has a fine wootz blade 14 inches long with a pronounced T spine elaborately chiseled, and ivory grips. Total length 18 inches. Very good condition. Minor cheap on the ivory grips. Lightly worn areas of the chiseling. Minor forging flaws on the blade. No scabbard. A long impressive specimen. |
