This short knife in the shape of a small Yataghan is of Turkish origin, second half of the 19 C. It is also known as Bichaq. its single edge blade is 7 inches long, forged from laminated steel and marked with the maker sign. The grips are rhino horn, grip strap is silver on tin base and the short bolsters are silver. Finely chased silver scabbard. Total length 12 inches. Very good condition. Chips and losses to the rhino horn. Very low price.
