This big blunderbuss is European made most probably for the Turkish market. Big wide barrel 17 inches long with a flared muzzle. The barrel was engraved with spiral pattern engraving to imitate twisted steel and it is inlaid with gold strips at the muzzle and the back. Flintlock mechanism, probably English made marked and engraved. The wood stock is finely inlaid with ivory decoration. Total length 33 inches. Very good condition. The spiral engraving on the top side of the barrel is worn. Lock in perfect working order. Minor wood chips to the stock. It is a blunderbuss of unusual dimensions.
