This fighting sword is a real battle sword. Heavy wide blade, 29 1/2 inches long. 1 1/2 inches wide with a 9 inches back edge. The blade is forged from very fine pattern welded (Damascus) steel and finely fullered. Classical whole steel handle with a D guard. The most interesting part of this sword is the scabbard made entirely from steel. Total length 35 inches. Very good condition. Very good age patina on the handle and the steel scabbard. . A scarce fine sword.
