Up for sale is this very fine kindjal dagger. Classical blade with off-centered fullers, 14 inches long. Silver handle and scabbard decorated with very fine chasing and niello work. An imperial double head eagle in the center of the scabbard front face is worked out in niello. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition with minor edge nicks on the blade. Kindjals with the imperial emblem were known to be ordered as a custom order of Russian high ranking officers serving in the Caucasus, late 19 to early 20 C.
