This is a classical Persian Shamshir, with curved Wootz blade 31 ½ inches long. The steel cross guard is also forged from good wootz steel. Horn grips with steel grip strap and pommel cap. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition. Minor pitted spots and edge nicks on the blade. No scabbard.
