Up for sale is this Caucasian pistol. A rather long version, 19 inches long. Very good barrel, forged from twisted steel, marked with maker sign and finely decorated with gold Koftgari work. Miquelet lock in working order ( needs adjustment) finely inlaid in gold. The butt as well as the barrel bands are silver finely chased and decorated with niello work. Good condition. Damage to the silver work on the butt ball tip and losses to the right side of the handle. A fine piece, and the damage can be easily restored.
