This is a very long Kindjal Dagger / Short sword. 20 inches long blade of flat diamond cross section with engraved design on the blade base. Horn grips on the I shaped tang, the side of which are covered with brass. Two of the hilt rivets are also covered with brass cap. Good condition. The blade engraving is slightly age worn. No scabbard. This Kindjal is probably of Circassian origin and dated to the early 20 C.
