This is a very good almost identical pair of pistols, coming from Greece, the first half of the 19 C. 13 inches long barrels marked and signed by their makers, with Miquelet locks and elaborate chased brass body in high relief. The pair come in a wooden box with inner velvet cushion, probably specifically adapted to house these pistols. Box dimensions are 22 X 9 1/2 inches. Very good condition. Locks in working order but need small adjustments. One lock holding screw is missing. Also missing are a ramrod and a powder flask which was supposedly included in the set. The box key is a later fitting.
