Up for sale is this very good Pedang short sword, probably quite early from java. The blade is 16 inches long, finely laminated and folded at the blade tip, in a way, reminding the hairpin folding of Tibetan swords. The handle is silver with a silver cross guard. The scabbard is covered with leather and mounted with two big silver mounts. Total length 22 inches. Very good condition. Minor blackened spots on the blade. The chain connection the pommel to the cross guard is torn.
