This Yataghan sword has a 21 inches blade, marked and signed by the maker. The handle is of very rare form, horn set with green dyed ivory and brass inserts and silver studs, similar to the decoration found on 18 C. Turkish rifles stocks. Wood scabbard with fabric cover (later) and gilded brass locket and chape. Total length 28 inches. Very good condition. Two inserts in the grips are missing, The scabbard tip is lightly damaged. A rare item.
