Ammunition Belt from North Africa (??) - 8756

This bandolier is most probably coming from North Africa. It is rather a simple one, used by a village hunter, but most authentic and interesting item. It includes a pouch for ten powder packs in wooden containers with wooden plugs (two missing), a bullet container made of wood and covered with hide, a pouch holding accessories, now including bullets, lead fragments for hunting shots, flints for the gun lock extra lead block to cut more pieces for the hunting shots and some natural dry wood fibers to plug the barrel. All ready for use. Very good condition. Some worm damage on the bullet container, (not active). Very unusual ethnographic item. |
