This very fine sword is coming from Bikaner, in Rajasthan, India. The Bikaner armory mark is dot punched into the spine. The massive blade is deadly sharp, 35 inches long 1 3/4 inches wide with a 12 inches back edge and deep fullers on both sides and on the spine. The blade is also marked with simplified moons and stars. The steel handle is beautifully forged with fine faceted grips and pierced langets (one partially broken). Wood scabbard with blue velvet cover and heavy silver mounts (both recent). Total length 41 inches. A very impressive sword.
