This fine short sword is coming from North India. It is in the style known as Khyber sword, but similar swords are found all over the region. The blade is 17 1/2 inches long with a pronounced T shaped spine, forged from Indian Wootz (Crystalline), The grips are made of four sectors of elephant ivory. Total length 23 inches. Very good condition. Natural age cracks in the grips and few very minor blackened spots on the blade. No scabbard.
