Up for sale is this good and unusual “PIHA KAHETTA”, the traditional knife of the Sinhalese from Sri-Lanka (Ceylon). The 7 1/2 inches blade with the straight spine is typical to these knives from the 19C. The silver handle is quite scarce and unusual. Total length 11 1/2 inches. Good condition. No scabbard. Some pitted spots on the blade. Very low price.
