Up for sale is this beautiful steel shield, Persian, Qajar, end of the 19 C. Like many other work of arts from the period, the European influence is quite evident in the style of decoration. Diameter 16 inches. Decoration is deeply etched into the steel. Original inner fabric cover and leather handles (one torn). Very good condition.
