We offer for sale this good Turkish Shamshir sword, with a blade forged from Sham steel (Turkish / Syrian wootz) of very low contrast, 30 inches long. The grips are horn and the grip strap and cross guard are brass. This sword comes with its original leather covered scabbard with engraves brass locket and chape and carrying rings. The scabbard is covered with its original classical spiral stitching. Total length 36 inches. Very good condition. Some chips on the horn grips. The small upper part of the leather cover is replaced.
